Should Americans bow & curtsy for royalty?

Isn't bowing to royalty showing respect for traditions and customs, even if not from the country of the royal? Shouldn't American's bow and curtsy too?

I agree with you. Even though we do not have royalty in America, and it isn't expected of us, the politest would want to show the same respect for royalty that they are accustomed to receiving. It is a sign of respect.
