Dear Polite One, I'm attending a brief hour at a neighbor's house to discuss "town" issues and meet for the first time. The neighbors are inviting a few couples and have offered cocktails . Is it appropriate for us to bring a bottle of wine since it will be the first time to our neighbor's home?
